Features and Usage
Carbon Fiber Sleeve produced by high quality carbon fiber yarn, 3K/6K/12K. With different fiber count makes sleeve different diameter. Also, the angle can be adjusted makes the sleeve be tighter or loose. Carbon Fiber Sleeve provide excellent protection for cables and hoses and can be expanded or contracted to accommodate a range of diameters. Each sleeve can be expanded by up to 30% and contracted by up to 70% of the stated diameter. Carbon Fiber Sleeve are extremely resistant to cracks between layers, reducing the possibility of delaminating and increasing the strength of the product. When inflated, braided reinforcement works much like a shark's body, orienting itself to the direction of force. This actually strengthens its outer skin, enabling it to withstand pressure and carry load, and to tolerate damage and fatigue. If a puncture does occur, the sleeve provides a slow, controlled failure, rather than a more damaging and potentially dangerous blow up. It's widely used for cover some surface irregular wires, cables or hose, good stability and high torsional strength. Aerospace, Wind power, Marine, Exhaust pipe, Sports equipment, Machinery class, etc.
Key Features of Carbon Fiber Tapes/Bands: √ High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Exceptionally strong yet lightweight, outperforming metals like steel or aluminum.
√ Corrosion Resistance: Immune to rust and degradation from chemicals, moisture, or UV exposure.
√ Fatigue Resistance: Maintains structural integrity under repeated stress, ideal for dynamic applications.
√ High Stiffness: Excellent rigidity (modulus) for minimal flex under load.
√ Design Flexibility: Customizable thickness, weave patterns, and fiber orientation for tailored performance.
√ Thermal Stability: Retains properties in high-temperature environments.
√ Electrical Conductivity (optional): Can be engineered for conductive or insulating applications.
√ Durability: Long-lasting with resistance to wear, impact, and environmental factors.
√ Aesthetic Appeal: Sleek, modern appearance for consumer or high-end products.
√ Cost-Effective Long-Term: Lower lifecycle costs due to reduced maintenance and replacement needs.
